Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a non-ionic, water-soluble polymer that appears as a white, free-flowing granular powder. Kaimo Star HEC is derived from renewable natural elements and serves as a water-soluble non-ionic polymer suitable for various personal care and household cleaning products. HEC is soluble in both cold and hot water, producing highly transparent solutions with varying viscosities. As a thickener, HEC remains stable across a wide pH range and is suitable for various formulations, offering excellent salt tolerance and superior compatibility with surfactants.
Applications
1. Coatings/Paints:
- Water-Based Coatings: HEC is used in water-based coatings for its excellent emulsification, stability, water retention, and high dispersion rate. It improves rheological properties under different shear rates, resulting in smoother final products with better anti-peeling and anti-slip properties.
- Enzyme Resistance and Smoothness: Its good enzyme resistance, smoothness, and thickening ability effectively enhance suspension performance.
2. Personal Care and Household Detergents:
- Personal Care Products: HEC exhibits effective film-forming, adhesive, thickening, stabilizing, and dispersing properties, making it suitable for shampoos, hair gels, neutralizers, conditioners, and cosmetics. Its thickening and protective colloidal properties are beneficial for both liquid and solid detergents.
- Efficiency in Production: HEC dissolves quickly at high temperatures, accelerating the production process and improving production efficiency.
Packaging and Transportation
- Packaging: 25 kg/bag
- Note: The product is packed in polypropylene woven bags, each with a net weight of 25 kg. Store in a ventilated and dry place indoors, avoiding moisture. Protect from rain and sunlight during transportation.
- Quantity per 20GP: 12 tons with pallet, 14 tons without pallet.
- Quantity per 40HQ: 24 tons with pallet, 28 tons without pallet.
